Newsletter 43: New Web+Center installation guide for IIS 7.0 and VISTA

OVERVIEW

A new Web+Center installation guide for IIS version 7.0 and VISTA is now completed and available. Special thanks go to Web+Center user Jeff Kelly who helped research and create much of the document and grabbed the many screen shots and settings that are required to document each step required to install Web+Center on IIS 7 and VISTA operating system with SQL 2005 or Access databases. VISTA or Server 2008 with it’s newer version of Internet Information Services – IIS (Version 7), has many significantly different user interfaces from previous versions, so a whole new installation guide was created just for users wishing to install Web+Center on VISTA.

The Windows VISTA /IIS 7.0 – Web+Center install guide (PDF) can be found on-line. Please let us know if there are any confusing or incomplete sections so we can update them.

If you are installing Web+Center on Windows 2000, 2003 or XP, please use the previous Web+Center 2000/2003/XP Install guide which is always on-line on our Support-Documentation website page along with all of the other current Web+Center documentation.
